Print Resources
- Use the library catalogue (OPAC) to locate books on your disease or health condition. There will be resources under the subject heading of “diseases”, “diet”, and “eating disorders”.
- REF 610 and Ref 613 – This area of the reference collection contains health and medical encyclopedias.

- A good place to start searching for eating disorder information is the Alberta Learning Online Reference Centre.
- The health directory in Yahoo Canada is an excellent starting point for research on the Web.
- The pathfinder “Nutrition and Diet” at the Edmonton Public Library is a good starting point for seeking information on your disease or illness.
