  • Young Adult Canadian Book Award – Canadian Library Association
    Brought to you by the Canadian Library Association’s Young Adult Special Interest Group. Established in 1980 for creative literature whether novel, play, or poetry. Work must be written by a Canadian and published in Canada.
  • Alex Awards
    The Young Adult Library Services Association (YALSA), a division of the American Library Association (ALA), selects ten adult books that will appeal to teen readers.
  • Michael L. Printz Award
    The Michael L. Printz Award is an award for a book that exemplifies literary excellence in young adult literature.The award is sponsored by Booklist, a publication of the American Library Association.
  • Young Reader’s Choice Award
    The Pacific Northwest Library Association’s Young Reader’s Choice Award is the oldest children’s choice award in the U.S. and Canada. The award was established in 1940 by a Seattle bookseller, the late Harry Hartman, who believed every student should have an opportunity to select a book that gives him or her pleasure.
    Nominations are taken only from children, teachers, parents and librarians in the Pacific Northwest ~ Alaska, Alberta, British Columbia, Idaho, Montana, Oregon and Washington.
