The usernames and passwords are available in your SchoolZone account under School Resources. You can also obtain the passwords from the library.

2. How do I determine what I have signed out on my account? How do I know when my items are due?

You have two options for you to determine the status of your account:

1. The catalogue is available to you on our library web page. Web Collection plus is our catalogue online. Select My Info from the toolbar at the top and type your ID number preceded by the number 2 in the barcode field. Your password is your last name.
2. In Schoolzone under the student profile tab you are able to select Library and Textbooks and the textbooks and library books on your account will be displayed. Outstanding late charges will also be displayed in this record. If you have questions please see the library staff for assistance.

The library will be open for the 2011/2012 school year on school days Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:15 p.m.

The loan period for resources in our regular collection is 15 school days or approximately 3 weeks. Weekends and holidays are not included in those 15 days. Students are limited to sign out three non-fiction books.  Please bring your ID card with you to sign out items.

5. How do I renew a book I have signed out?

Renewals are completed at the circulation desk in the library. You do not need to have the items with you when you want to renew them. Items may not be renewed if another patron has place a hold on the item you have signed out. The loan period for renewals is 15 school days for all regular items.

Extended Use Charges are calcuated on the basis of $.25 per day late. Loan privileges are suspended for students who have Extended Use Charges or overdue items. In addition, loan privileges are suspended for students who have overdue textbooks.

8. How can I access one of the computers during scheduled class periods or when I have a study period in my timetable?

Check the library class bookings board as you enter the library. This will tell you how many computers are booked for a class. Monitors which are turned off are on reserve for the class that will be arriving. If a monitor is on and no class has booked the library computers you are welcome to use them for school work. Please see the staff if you require assistance.

Please refrain from bringing food and/or drinks into the library. The rationale for this policy is to:
