Textbook Returns
Entry to examination rooms will require a textbook return form. Students in courses which do not have textbooks will receive a form indicating there were no textbooks distributed in this course from their class teachers. There will be three forms as follows:
- If a student had no textbooks signed out in a course they will receive a form signed by their teacher indicating that no textbooks were signed out for this course. These students need to proceed to the examination room with this form and provide this form to the examination supervisors.
- Students who have textbooks in Full Year and Semester 2 classes will receive a form from the library staff indicating all books have been returned for the course. These forms will be distributed to students upon the return of the textbooks for a particular class.
- Students who do not return Full year and Semester 2 textbooks must come to the library prior to the exam and the library staff will indicate which books are overdue on the form. Students will then proceed to the examination room and provide this form to the exam supervisors.
- One hour prior to the exam (7:45 – 9:00 am; 11:45 am – 1:00 pm) textbooks may be returned to the library. (NOTE: Students are responsible for the texts which they have signed out and returning another textbook signed out to other students does not constitute the return of their textbook)
- Students may return textbook(s) prior to the day of the examination during non peak hours. Students will receive a form once all of their course texts are returned. Students should keep the form to present in the examination room on the day the exam is written. Students who lose forms may come to the library to be reissued a new form.
- Lost textbooks may be paid for in the cashier’s office in the office.
If you have questions please see the library staff.
